Meet Caroline
Caroline has been designing interiors and carving out a niche for herself since her tweens. Constantly rearranging furniture, experimenting with colours, and finding creative ways to breathe new life into discarded pieces, Caroline soon found her identity as the imaginative one in the family home.

After studying with the highly regarded Interior Design Institute, Caroline co-founded Expressions with her husband and best friend, Owen. Their vision was to create inspired spaces encouraging people to live fully in each moment through thoughtful, functional design.
​
Before launching Expressions, Caroline built a successful career in both the public and private sectors, supporting people’s wellbeing. This experience became even more significant during the pandemic, reinforcing the importance of a home that radiates positive energy - a space that offers comfort, beauty, and a true sense of self.

With her deep passion for creativity and strong business foundation, Caroline is dedicated to bringing joy into people’s lives through design. She believes a home should be a sanctuary - one that ignites the senses, fosters peace, and truly feels like your own.
Meet Owen
It all started with LEGO! As a child, Owen would spend hours building elaborate models of all shapes and sizes. When he wasn’t building, he was in the garage, transforming old pieces of wood into his next masterpiece. After years of climbing the corporate ladder and earning a degree in business management, Owen decided to reconnect with the passion and joy he found in those childhood memories.

Through multiple house renovations, Owen had the golden opportunity to work alongside some of the best carpenters and joiners in the field. Now, 10 years later, as a highly skilled tradesperson, Owen’s reputation speaks for itself - his phone doesn’t stop ringing, and he’s often asked to make the impossible possible.

Owen brings to Expressions an unwavering entrepreneurial spirit, boundless creativity, and a strong work ethic honed over a decade in senior management roles. His passion for exceptional customer experiences is at the heart of everything he does.

When combined with Caroline's corporate expertise, their shared vision is what drives Expressions to embrace operational excellence, foster collaboration, and create meaningful partnerships - with you at the very centre of it all.
